GAME appoints COO

GAME Group plc, Europe's leading retailer of PC and video games, is pleased to announce the appointment of Terry Scicluna as Chief Operating Officer.
Terry joins GAME from Alliance Boots. He has 30 years experience in retail including the management of multiple brands. Until recently he was Managing Director of Unichem. He has also held senior leadership roles at Alliance Pharmacy, where he was Chief Operating Officer responsible for £1.2billion worth of turnover and over a thousand stores. He has also held senior roles at Thorn EMI, Brighthouse and Radio Rentals.
Reporting to Group Chief Executive Lisa Morgan, Terry will focus on developing GAME's dual brand strategy in the UK and Eire and will support the business in developing the Group's specialist proposition.
GAME Group has expanded rapidly in the last five years and now has approaching 1,300 stores in 10 countries. In the UK and Eire, the Group operates under the GAME and Gamestation brands, with over 660 stores and concessions.
